Henrik Larsson insists Lubo Moravcik is one of the best players he’s ever played with.
And that’s despite the Celtic legend having played alongside Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Ronaldinho, Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and a host of other top stars during his career.
Larsson spent seven hugely successful years in Glasgow, scoring 242 goals in 313 appearances and helping the club to eight major trophies as well as a UEFA Cup final appearance in 2003, which Celtic lost to Porto.

He went on to appear in his homeland as well as for Barcelona and Manchester United after leaving Celtic in 2004, but he still considers Moravcik as one of his best ever team-mates.
Team-mates for just four seasons, Larsson and Moravcik struck up a bond that is still fondly remembered by Hoops fans.
And ahead of their ‘Henrik’s Heroes v Lubo’s Legends’ charity match in May, Larsson has heaped praise on his former team-mate:

That’s quite the compliment from a player who has such an accomplished career at club and international level.
And it’ll no doubt be a surprise to anyone who isn’t a Celtic fan, as Moravcik’s career pales in comparison when you see he played for unknown teams like Nitra in Czech Republic, Bastia in France, Duisburg in Germany and JEF United in Japan.
