A kind Rangers fan is raffling off his ticket for the Scottish Cup semi-final to raise money for Fernando Ricksen‘s charity.

Chris McFadyen has started the fundraiser on Facebook after receiving the good news that he was successful in the ballot to get a ticket for the game against Celtic at Hampden on April 23rd.

But instead of using the ticket himself, he’s going to allow other supporters to win it by entering a raffle.

And all proceeds will go to Ricksen’s charity – which is helping Fernando, as well as other MND sufferers, fight the devastating illness.

Given the demand for tickets for the game, as well as the very worthy cause, it should see a lot of money raised for Ricksen and his charity.

It comes just days after thousands of Gers fans travelled to Fleetwood to see a Rangers legends team play an England select XI in aid of Ricksen.

This is just another brilliant example of the club’s supporters rallying behind Ricksen’s battle. And Chris McFadyen deserves a lot of praise for aiding in that.
