Video: Man City’s Kevin De Bruyne Nets Incredible Half-Court Volley With Basketball

Kevin De Bruyne is a major doubt for Manchester City’s trip to Arsenal on Sunday.

And when videos like this one emerge online, it’s easy to see how big a miss the playmaker will be.

De Bruyne will have frustrated City boss Pep Guardiola after he picked up a groin injury on international duty with Belgium.

But the club’s social media team have been keen to remind everyone of the former Chelsea man’s ability.

The midfielder recently swapped the football pitch for the basketball court and quickly created a new viral video.

KDB was filmed netting a a stunning volley – from inside the opposite half of the court.

He set himself up with some nice juggling work before lobbing the ball down-court and into the hoop.

The 25-year-old star missed Belgium’s 1-1 draw with Greece on Saturday and will not travel with Roberto Martinez’s side to Russia for their friendly match.

Instead, he’ll return to Manchester for treatment in the hopes of winning the battle for fitness ahead of the trip to the Emirates.

Guardiola’s side currently sit in third spot in the Premier League and win this weekend would hand their chances of Champions League football next season a major boost – while severely damaging the Gunners’.
