Video: Patrick Vieira Says Roy Keane Was One of the Best… Until He Arrived in England

Patrick Vieira has fired some serious shots at his old nemesis Roy Keane, claiming he was a class above the ex-Manchester United skipper.

Vieira is currently the manager of MLS side New York City, however, being across the other side of the Atlantic hasn’t stopped the Frenchman from having a dig at Keane.

The pair of course enjoyed numerous battles while Vieira was lining up for Arsenal and Keane for United.

And despite their countless spats on and off the field, the duo appeared to put their differences aside and become good friends during ITV’s ‘Best of Enemies’ programme.

However, when Vieira was asked during a recent interview about his favourite moment playing against Keane, he simply couldn’t help himself but open the argument over who the better player was, once again.

The World Cup winner also spoke about the ‘Wenger Out’ protests, his love of Arsenal and Edgar Davids:

With Vieira quite clearly still a fan of the Gunners, would you be keen to get the former captain back to the Emirates as a coach, Arsenal supporters?
