Former Arsenal man Samir Nasri was sent off against Leicester this evening for a ridiculous confrontation with Jamie Vardy.
The Sevilla midfielder had already been shown yellow for a foolish challenge early in the first half/
But he was sent for an early bath after an off-the-ball confrontation with Jamie Vardy.
With the Spanish side trailing 2-0, an away goal would have been enough to take the tie to extra time providing Leicester did not add to their tally.
However, their task was made all the more difficult when Nasri was given his marching orders after squaring up to the Leicester forward.
As his side pushed for a much-needed goal, Nasri was shoved off the ball by Vardy and he reacted by confronting the England international as the pair clashed heads.

Vardy did seem to make the most of the situation, however, the referee showed both a yellow card with Nasri sent off.
