Video: Watch Pedro Caixinha’s First Training Session as Rangers Manager

Pedro Caixinha took charge of his first training session as Rangers manager today – and it looked intense.

The Portuguese coach was confirmed as the club’s new head coach on Saturday and was at Celtic Park to watch his side draw 1-1 with their rivals on Sunday.

But he didn’t officially start his job until yesterday, facing media at Ibrox before then taking his first training session with the players earlier today.

If Rangers fans are wondering what life will be like under Caixinha then a glimpse at today’s training should give them an insight into the demands the coach will place on the players.

It looked intense, with the first team stars who didn’t play the full 90 minutes in Sunday’s game worked hard out on the pitch while those who did worked out in the gym and indoor area:

All fans can expect is for Caixinha and his team to work hard from now on and today’s first session suggests that’s going to be the case.

We’ll get a first look at how his team will set up when they take on Hamilton at Ibrox on Saturday.
