Yaya Toure to Manchester United? Agent Talks Up Move

Could Yaya Toure be on his way to Manchester United? His agent seems to think it’s a possibility.

The Manchester City midfielder is approaching the end of his contract at the club at the end of this season and it appears no new deal is on the way for the 33-year-old.

It wasn’t a great start to Pep Guardiola’s reign at City for Toure, as his agent publicly criticised the Spanish manager before both had to apologise to get him back in the first team fold.

The last few months have passed without any incident – until now. As Toure’s agent¬†Dimitri Seluk has went public stating that no new contract is on the table for his client and he would consider a move to one of City’s rivals, including United.

Speaking to Sky Sports News today, Seluk said: “A move to Manchester United, Liverpool or Arsenal would be considered.”

Imagine Toure at United? We can’t either. And this United fan summed up what everyone’s reaction should be:

Toure has been at City since 2010 after moving from Barcelona and he’s helped the Manchester outfit win five major trophies and regularly challenge in Europe during a period of huge transition for the club.

He should go down as a club legend – but that may change if he was to make the unthinkable move across the city to Old Trafford.
