Arsenal Fans Can’t Believe Alexis Sanchez isn’t in the PFA Team of the Year

The Professional Footballers’ Association Premier League team of the year was announced earlier this afternoon and Arsenal fans are furious that Alexis Sanchez hasn’t been included.

The XI is dominated by Chelsea and Tottenham players – with both sides considered the only serious contenders for this year’s Premier League title.

However, despite Arsenal’s slump in form which sees the Gunners sit in 6th place heading into the final few weeks of the season, fans still can’t believe Sanchez hasn’t been included.

The Chilean international has scored 19 goals and contributed nine assists in the league this season, making him the division’s third top scorer behind Romelu Lukaku and Harry Kane.

And supporters were quick to log-in to their Twitter accounts to ask how the ex-Barcelona player hasn’t been given the nod by his fellow pros:

Has Arsenal’s decline this season affected Sanchez’s bid to earn individual prizes?

Or have the players included in this year’s PFA team just performed better than the Arsenal star?
