Cristiano Ronaldo Blames Barcelona Defeat on Two Real Madrid Players

Cristiano Ronaldo is still smarting from Real Madrid‘s defeat to Barcelona on Sunday night, and the Portuguese superstar apparently blames two of his team-mates for the loss.

Ronaldo and his Los Blancos colleagues hosted Messi and co at the Bernabeu knowing that a victory would all but seal the La Liga title this season, but a 3-2 reverse has thrown everything up in the air.

Messi’s last-gasp winner prompted a bit of a tantrum from Ronaldo, and according to Spanish newspaper Marca, his strop didn’t end on the pitch.

They claim Ronnie holds responsible Luka Modric and Marcelo for their part in allowing Barca’s winning goal to happen, with Marcelo particularly taking heat for passing up an opportunity to foul Sergi Roberto in the build-up.

We have absolutely no reason to doubt the veracity of the report from one of Spain’s leading sports paper – we just wish we could have been a fly on the wall in the Real dressing room afterwards.

What do you think? Should Ronaldo be blaming others?
