Former Crystal Palace Chairman Simon Jordan Slams Celtic’s Chances In England and Mocks Scottish Football

Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan has spent his Monday morning arguing with Celtic fans on Twitter.

Jordan, who made his name during the ten years he was chairman of the London club, regularly responds to questions on Twitter.

And this morning was no different as he opened a Twitter poll asking if Celtic would ‘finish in the top six of the EPL’ … before adding in ‘English Pub League’.

This, as expected, caused a number of fans to start a debate with Jordan who is no stranger to an online confrontation.

Jordan also stated that a resurgent Rangers would do better in England’s top-flight than Brendan Rodgers‘ side before taking a dig at Scottish football in general.

There has been much talk of Celtic in the English Premier League after Brendan Rodgers stated the Hoops would be a top four, minimum top six, club if they were to move down south.

Where would Celtic finish in the Premier League?
