#FreeMartial Trends on Twitter After Striker Fails to Make Manchester United’s Starting XI For Anderlecht Game

Anthony Martial’s Manchester United future looks further in doubt after the Frenchman failed to make Manchester United’s starting eleven for tonight’s clash against Anderlecht.

Jose Mourinho has made several changes to his side for the Europa League quarter-final – as he has done throughout the competition – but opted to leave Martial on the bench.

The former Monaco striker has been a bit-part player under Mourinho who has opted for Zlatan Ibrahimovic or Marcus Rashford throughout the season.

But it looks like he has failed to change the Portuguese coach’s mind after being left out of tonight’s clash with the Belgian league leaders with Rashford coming into the side.

With Antoine Griezmann potentially arriving at Old Trafford, Martial’s time looks to be coming to an end, forcing #FreeMartial to start trending on Twitter shortly after team news was announced.

Can Martial force his way into Mourinho’s United team? Or is it better for his future to be elsewhere?
