Gary Neville Rinses Jamie Carragher on Twitter Over His Own Goal Record

Sky Sports’ dynamic duo have been up to their old tricks this afternoon on Twitter, with Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher aiming several friendly barbs at one another.

The pair are constantly harping on at each other on the social networking site, as they poke fun at the other’s career, but Neville might have struck the winning blow after replying to Carragher’s latest taunt.

The pair are currently preparing to make an appearance on Monday Night Football this evening, with Crystal Palace set to face Arsenal, but as they prepared backstage, neither could refrain from a little bit of light-hearted banter:

Of course, the two goals Neville is referring to are own goals, which Carragher unfortunately put through his own net whilst playing for United’s bitter rivals Liverpool.

At the time of writing, Carragher is yet to respond – and we don’t imagine much of a response will be forthcoming.

There are some put-downs you just don’t come back from.

Nice work, Gaz.
