Giroud Linked With Marseille…and Arsenal Fans Are Desperate For it to Happen

Arsenal striker Oliver Giroud has been linked with a return to his native France with Marseille in the summer – and it seems a lot of the north London club’s support base is firmly behind selling him.

The towering forward has been something of a divisive figure ever since moving to England back in 2012, with his lack of pace often cited as a problem when playing in the high-octane Premier League.

But he’s definitely weighed-in with a half-decent share of goals over the years, with a record of 66 in 156 top-flight league appearances to date.

However, it seems the Arsenal fans want something a bit different from next season, and if it’s not going to be a change at management level, it seems Giroud is one of a number of players they’d be willing to flog pretty cheap:

What do you think of the reaction? Is £20 million for a player like Giroud a fair price in the current market?

Who’d be getting the better deal?
