John Terry to Celtic? Twitter Seems to Think It Really Could Happen

John Terry has officially announced he’ll leave Chelsea at the end of the current season – and it seems there’s a lot of Celtic supporters who reckon he could be heading to Parkhead.

After winning 14 major honours at Stamford Bridge, the club and Terry revealed earlier today that his two-decade stay at the London club was coming to an end, with the veteran’s 37th birthday looming later this year.

However, as he confirmed via a statement on Chelsea’s website, Terry won’t be hanging up his boots just yet, and the former England international wants ‘another challenge’ before contemplating retirement.

There will undoubtedly be offers from the cash-rich leagues in America, the Middle East, and probably England, but could he really be about to sign on for Brendan Rodgers?

Trophies, Old Firm derbies and another crack at the Champions League? Stranger things have happened:

What do you make of the reaction?

Could JT be tempted by a swansong in Glasgow? And would Celtic want him?
