Liverpool Fans Hail Simon Mignolet After ‘Game of His Life’

Liverpool fans are hailing Simon Mignolet after he produced the ‘game of his life’ against Stoke.

Jurgen Klopp’s men were staring defeat in the face at half-time when Jonathan Walters’ 44th-minute goal gave the hosts the lead at the Bet365 Stadium.

In a week where they drew 2-2 with Bournemouth at Anfield, that result wouldn’t have gone down well with the Liverpool supporters.

But they managed to turn it around in the second half, with Philippe Coutinho and Roberto Firmino scoring after the break to win the game 2-1.

While the Brazilian pair will get the headlines for their goals, Mignolet should also get praise for several outstanding saves to deny Stoke getting a second.
