Liverpool Fans Reckon Iago Aspas Will Come Back to Haunt Manchester United

Manchester United will face Celta Vigo in the semi-finals of the Europa League, and Liverpool fans reckon one of their flops is about to come back and haunt Jose Mourinho’s side.

The Red Devils made it to the competition’s last four after a nail-biting extra-time win over Anderlecht at Old Trafford on Thursday night, and their first-leg against Celta will take place on May 4 in Spain.

Of course, the La Liga side’s most dangerous player is none other than Iago Aspas, the Spaniard who cost Liverpool around £9 million back in 2013 and went on to score zero goals in 14 league appearances – as well as taking one of the worst corner kicks of all-time.

But these are changed days for Aspas, who is the toast of the Spanish top-flight at the minute.

This season, the 29-year-old has managed 24 goals in 45 matches – and Liverpool fans are convinced he’s about to knock United out of Europe:

What do you think? Is Iago Aspas really the man who is about to end United’s European hopes – and possibly stop them from qualifying for next season’s Champions League too?
