Liverpool Manager Jurgen Klopp is a BIG Fan of ‘Genius’ Toni Kroos

It turns out that Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is a pretty massive fan of Real Madrid’s Toni Kroos, with the Reds boss even claiming the midfielder is a ‘genius’.

Kroos and Klopp know each other well, with both doing battle in the Bundesliga for Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund respectively, but have since headed off in their different directions.

But could Kroos perhaps be heading for a spell in the Premier League? Well, if Klopp got his way, it’d definitely happen.

Klopp has been speaking about his compatriot and confirmed that his favourite Real player certainly isn’t Cristiano Ronaldo.

Speaking via the Mirror, Klopp said: “Toni Kroos is an exceptional footballer, a genius.

“He is so subtle with the ball. In the Real this is very important.

“I like him very much. He knows what to do with the ball always.”

Kroos has recently signed a new contract with Real until 2020, and prizing him away from the Bernabeu would probably cost the GDP of a small Balkan nation, but could he end up at Anfield one day?

With the money pouring into the Premier League at the current rate, it’d be difficult to rule out.

But would he excel in the English top-flight? What do you think?
