Winnall left Barnsey for the Owls for an undisclosed fee during the January transfer window, having scored an impressive 48 goals in 116 games for the club.
However, despite the dust having settled on the transfer which took place four months ago, Winnall was targeted by the Barnsley fans during his return to Oakwell.
And by targeted, we mean a Barnsley fan appeared to take the bizarre step of throwing an cuddly toy pig at the Wednesday front man, an action which resulted in the game being delayed:

The scene bared a clear resemblance the iconic moment a real-life pig’s head was thrown at Luis Figo during an El Classico, following his dramatic move from Barcelona to Real Madrid.
Luckily for the faint-hearted in the crowd, on this occasion the pig was simply an inflatable toy.
Winnall has scored just once for Wednesday since completing his move, however, a goal during today’s match would surely be the perfect remedy for the striker.
