The North London Derby between Arsenal and Tottenham almost boiled over this afternoon when one supporter had to be wrestled away from Mesut Ozil.

The Gunners’ German midfielder was taking a corner-kick during the Premier League fixture’s first-half at White Hart Lane when a Tottenham supporter rushed from his seat to confront the World Cup winner.

The man hurled abuse at Ozil for several seconds, but before he could do anything else, he was quickly tackled by the onlooking security stewards:

Of course, we have absolutely no idea what the man was saying, or what he was hoping to achieve by acting in such an aggressive manner.

In the end, all he appears to have done is get himself thrown out of the match, whilst making an absolute backside of himself in the process.

His hangover in the morning is definitely going to be a bad one, eh?

What do you make of the incident?
