Anderlecht fans shared a love in with a Manchester City supporter today ahead of their Europa League quarter-final with Manchester United.

The Belgian side grabbed a late equaliser in the first leg to ensure they remained in the tie as they traveled to Manchester.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan fired United into the lead as they dominated the first half but a late goal from Leander Dendoncker ensured Anderlecht were in with a shout ahead of tonight’s match.

And it appeared the supporters were in good spirits today as they enjoyed a sing-a-long with a City supporter.

The young supporter raised his City scarf in the air, prompting the Belgian supporters to break out into a Vincent Kompany chant.

The centre-back made his name at Anderlecht before moving on to German side Hamburg where he was snapped up by City in 2008.

Kompany has since gone on to become captain at the Etihad while making over 70 appearances for the national side where he also wears the armband.
