Video: Andros Townsend Chips Crystal Palace Ahead Against Arsenal

Arsenal‘s top-four hopes took another blow tonight when Andros Townsend fired Crystal Palace ahead against the Gunners at Selhurst Park.

Arsene Wenger and his men,as you probably know, are going through something of a pretty poor season at the moment, and taking on Big Sam Allardyce’s side probably didn’t come at the greatest of times.

Even with Ozil and Sanchez back in the starting XI behind Danny Welbeck, Palace started much brightly, with Townsend, Zaha and Benteke all buzzing around Arsenal’s backline in the opening stages,

And when Gabriel failed to challenge Benteke for a header, the ball broke to Zaha, who put it on a plate for Townsend.

He really couldn’t miss:

Of course, Townsend is a former Spurs player, and judging by his reaction, he loved absolutely every second of touching that ball into the net.

What do you think of the goal, and will Arsenal be in the Champions League next season?
