Video: Chelsea’s Pedro Scores Absolutely Fantastic Goal Against Everton

Pedro continued to contribute to Chelsea‘s cause this afternoon by scoring an absolutely brilliant goal away at Everton’s Goodison Park.

The Blues travelled to Merseyside this afternoon facing what many thought would be their last major test of the Premier League season, and a tight first-half soon ensued.

But as things opened up in the second period, Chelsea began to get a look at the Everton goal, and just beyond the hour mark, Pedro pounced – and proceeded to smash the ball high beyond a helpless Maarten Stekelenburg.

What an absolutely gorgeous finish:

A lot of the plaudits for Chelsea’s campaign this season have gone to Eden Hazard, Diego Costa and N’Golo Kante but that’s Pedro’s 12th goal under Antonio Conte, and it could turn out to be an extremely important one.

With just a few games remaining, it looks like Chelsea are closing in on the Premier League title – but just how important has Pedro’s form been?
