Dani Alves missed the kick-off in tonight’s game as he messed around with Barcelona‘s bench.
The Brazilian full-back is still a big favourite at the club after his hugely successful eight-year spell at the Camp Nou.
He made 391 appearances for the team, helping them win 13 major trophies, including three Champions League titles.
So Alves was bound to get a good welcome on his first return to the club since leaving for Juventus in the summer.
It was such a good welcome that Alves was joking around with Luis Enrique, his coaching staff and the Barca substitutes when referee Björn Kuipers blew his whistle to get the game started:
Classic Dani Alves!

Luckily for Alves, he was able to make it on to the pitch just after the whistle and was in place to defend a long ball towards Neymar.
He can’t be accused of lacking professionalism either as he’s been part of a Juve defence that’s managed to keep Barca quiet to go into half-time 0-0.
