Video: Forgotten Man Yaya Sanogo Scored ‘Perfect’ Hat-Trick For Arsenal U23’s

Yaya Sanogo might not have made an appearance for Arsenal‘s senior side since 2014, but the striker bagged an impressive hat-trick for the club’s youth team this afternoon.

Sanogo’s last appearance for the Gunners came nearly three years ago against Galatasaray in the Champions League, with the player since being sent on loan to Crystal Palace, Charlon and Ajax.

However, we might be seeing a lot more from the 24-year-old if this clip is anything to go by, after he scored the ‘perfect hat-trick’ for the club’s U23’s this afternoon.

The Frenchman lined up against Reading’s youngsters and grabbed goals with his left foot, right foot and then finally using his head:

Sanogo has made 11 appearances for Arsenal since moving to the Premier League from French side Auxerre in 2013.

However, after failing to make a substantial impact at the Emirates and with Wenger blessed with options up front including Alexis Sanchez, Olivier Giroud, Danny Welbeck and Lucas Perez, most expect that Sanogo will move on in the summer.

Although if Wenger sees footage of Sanogo’s trio of goals from this afternoon, maybe he could change his mind?
