Video: It’s 3-0… Callum McGregor Capitalises on Some Slack Rangers Defending

Celtic midfielder Callum McGregor has scored his second goal against Rangers within a week, after giving his side a 3-0 lead at Ibrox this afternoon.

Scott Sinclair scored Celtic’s first from the penalty spot after a poor challenge from Myles Beerman brought down Patrick Roberts, while Leigh Griffiths scored from a tight angle to make it two before half-time.

However, things have quickly went from bad to worse for the Ibrox faithful, with Brendan Rodgers’ side striding into a three goal lead through McGregor.

The 23-year-old was of course on the scoresheet during Celtic’s 2-0 victory over Rangers in the Scottish Cup semi-final last weekend and has added to that haul today:

While it’s been a miserable day for Rangers supporters, it could get even worse as Celtic chase another goal which would equal their biggest winning margin at Ibrox.

Surely it’s a matter of damage limitation for Pedro Caixinha’s side now?
