Video: Marcus Rashford Sends Man United into the Europa League Semi-Finals With Amazing Strike

Marcus Rashford just sealed Manchester United‘s place in the semi-finals of the Europa League with a glorious goal vs Anderlecht.

Before Rashford’s strike, United had made 20 attempts on the Belgian side’s goal, with only Henrikh Mkhitaryan able to find the back of the net.

And it looked like the tie was almost certainly heading toward a penalty shoot-out with Anderlecht proving themselves to be the most stubborn of opposition.

However an insane first touch, turn and finish from the England international resulted in Old Trafford going into absolute pandemonium:

United’s safe passageway into the semi-finals could see them come up against Ajax, Celta Vigo or one of either Lyon or Besiktas, before the final takes place on Wednesday 24 May.

Not that Rashford will be fearing any of those teams after turning into a real-life magician inside the Anderlecht box for a few short seconds.

Tonight’s victory is the first time United have made it into the semi-finals of the Europa League.
