Video: Neil Lennon Has His Say on Jason Cummings’ “Hilarious” Wrestling Video

Hibs manager Neil Lennon has described the video of Jason Cummings taking on Scottish wrestler Grado as “hilarious”.

Cummings uploaded a clip of him wrestling Grado at the Hibernian training ground on Tuesday, with the video quickly and quite rightfully going viral.

And while most managers would surely squirm at the thought of their talisman striker getting involved in a wrestling match prior to a big Scottish Cup semi-final with Aberdeen this weekend, Lennon was keen to praise Cummings.

Yes, instead of giving the 21-year-old a public telling off, Lennon told STV Sport that the game needs more characters like the Hibs forward:

Cummings has scored 21 goals in 36 appearances for Hibs this season, as the Easter Road club earned promotion to the Scottish Premiership having been in second tier since 2014.

And he may need to have one of the games of his life if he’s to lead Hibs into the final of the Scottish Cup on Sunday, with Aberdeen keen to win their first piece of silverware in three years.

Grado could certainly testify to Cummings’ toughness though!
