Video: Paul Pogba Tries Out His Best Manchester Accent…And It’s Awful

Paul Pogba might be coming in for stick for some of his performances this season, but if football doesn’t quite work out, he can always go into impressions- after showing off his very own Manchester accent.

The world’s most expensive footballer is obviously still buoyed from his team’s performance in the weekend’s 2-0 win over Chelsea, and seemed in high spirits at the club’s Carrington Training Ground as he posted from his Instagram account today.

As he put on his boots, Pogba did his best impression of a character from Coronation Street, and given he’s spent a rather sizeable chunk of his life living in Manchester, you’d have thought he’d have a much better grasp on the dialect:

You’re not from Manchester indeed.

To be honest, as long as his performances improve, and United keep on heading in the right direction, fans probably couldn’t give two hoots what accent he speaks with.
