Eric Bailly produced shades of Nemanja Vidic last night with his performance against Manchester City.
The Manchester United defender played the full game as his team held out for a 0-0 draw in a tense affair with their rivals at the Etihad.
United set up from the start to frustrate their opponents and they were forced to go on the full defensive when Marouane Fellani was sent off with six minutes of the game remaining.
That meant Bailly had to step up and marshall United to a positive result which keeps them in the top four hunt – and that’s exactly what he did.
A Twitter user has compiled all of Bailly’s highlights from the game and it’s hard not to be reminded of former United centre back Vidic when you watch:

Bailly was a reported £30million signing for United last summer and, putting his knee injury aside, he’s been a big hit.
He’s played 32 games and been a big part of United’s improved defensive displays this season. Now Mourinho and fans will be hoping he can kick on to become one of the best centre backs in Europe as they target success at home and on the continent.
