Alan Pardew made his debut appearance on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football this evening – but was brutally trolled by viewers watching at home.
The former Newcastle and West Ham boss has been out of work since leaving Crystal Palace just before Christmas, and his appearance alongside Jamie Carragher for tonight’s Watford v Liverpool match might be a suggestion that he wants to remind Premier League chairmen that he’s out of work.
He and Carragher talked through the weekend’s biggest results – most notably Spurs’ big win over Arsenal – but judging by the reaction on social media, Pards could do absolutely nothing right.
He was criticised not only for his technical analysis, but his appearance, body language and even his understanding of irony were all called into question:

If Watford score Pardew will probably blame Carragher for it #Pardewexcusebingo

What a reaction, eh?
Are we the only ones who feels a bit sorry for Alan here? Has he actually done or said anything that warrants this kind of barbaric response?
What do you think?
