Antoine Griezmann Insists Manchester United Rumours Are Untrue on Twitter

Atletico Madrid striker Antoine Griezmann has taken to social media to give his own take on growing rumours he’s about to sign for Manchester United – claiming the stories are unfounded.

For several months now, the Frenchman has been linked with a big-money move to Old Trafford this summer, and Griezmann himself rated his chances of signing for United at ‘six out of ten’ only earlier this week.

Since then, United have won the Europa League and qualified for the Champions League, which will only increase the possibility of Jose Mourinho spending an absolute fortune during the forthcoming transfer window.

But Griezmann is obviously a little bit tired of hearing about Manchester United, and decided to put his 3.75 million followers on Twitter in the picture:

In case your Spanish is a bit rubbish like ours, the word ‘Colchonero’ is another word used by Atletico Madrid supporters to describe their club.

Interestingly, the forward undoubtedly leaves the door open at the end of his message, doesn’t he?

So where do you think he’ll be playing his football next season?
