Arsenal Fans Cannot Believe Their Club Isn’t Going After Thomas Tuchel

Borussia Dortmund have parted ways with their manager Thomas Tuchel today – and Arsenal supporters are furious that their club aren’t going after the German coach to replace Arsene Wenger.

Tuchel has been regarded as one of the most sought-after coaches in European football ever since taking over Dortmund following Jurgen Klopp’s departure in 2015.

But he was given his marching orders this morning, despite winning the German Cup against Eintracht Frankfurt at the weekend and leading the club to qualification for next season’s Champions League.

As the news broke that Tuchel was now unemployed and free to take up any other job he’s offered, it also emerged that Arsene Wenger has agreed a new two-year contract at the Emirates.

It’ll be interesting to see where Tuchel ends up next, but it seems very unlikely that he’ll be showing up in the home dugout at the Emirates.
