Scottish champions Celtic have taken to Twitter this afternoon to unveil next season’s home kit.
Brendan Rodgers has revitalised the Hoops this term, after arriving at Celtic Park to huge fanfare last summer.
And the Irishman didn’t taken long to make his mark, with Celtic on course to lift the treble this season, while maintaining a hugely impressive record of being unbeaten in every domestic fixture played.
So, with Celtic producing sexy football on the pitch through the likes of Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Stuart Armstrong, next season’s kit had to have a certain… va va voom.
Thankfully New Balance didn’t shy away from that challenge and have produced this stunning commemorative Lisbon Lions kit for the 2017/18 season:

The kit of course pays tribute to the achievements of the Lisbon Lions 50 years ago – when the team lifted the European Cup following their historic victory over Inter Milan.
The shirt features a special textured 50th anniversary gold crest, while the two teams who competed in the 1967 final have also been commemorated in the inner back neck of the jersey:
Celtic’s skipper Scott Brown told New Balance, “This year is such a huge anniversary for the club and all our fans, it is great to see the home kit has been inspired by such an important event in our illustrious history.”
He added, “What the Lisbon Lions achieved 50 years ago was truly incredible and I know all the players will feel extremely proud to wear this shirt next season.”
What do you make of the new design, Celtic fans?
Could we see the champions increase their gap over Rangers wearing this kit next season, and win their seventh title in a row?
