Chelsea midfielder Cesc Fabregas has taken the opportunity to rub salt into Tottenham‘s wounds following their recent defeat to West Ham.
Spurs travelled to their East London neighbours last Friday night knowing that a tenth consecutive victory would cut Chelsea’s lead at the top of the Premier League to just a solitary point.
But Manuel Lanzini’s second-half winner was enough to give the Hammers a surprise 1-0 victory, and that result coupled with the Blues’ 3-0 win over Middlesbrough on Monday, means Antonio Conte’s men need just three more points to be crowned English champions.
It might be the former Arsenal player inside him, but speaking ahead of Friday’s trip to West Brom, Fabregas made a comment which is sure to have Spurs supporters’ blood boiling:

He’s probably just being honest, but if he wasn’t already a hated figure around White Hart Lane, he certainly will be now.
What do you think of his form this season?
