Everybody’s Making the Same Joke About Arsene Wenger After Liverpool’s Win

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is being trolled all over social media – following Liverpool’s win over West Ham earlier today.

You’re probably wondering why the Gunners boss is being dragged into the Reds’ results in East London, but let us explain.

Liverpool travelled to the London Stadium this afternoon knowing they needed all three points to stay on target for a top-four finish this season, and, therefore, compete in the Champions League next season.

Thanks to a Philipe Coutinho-inspired performance, Jurgen Klopp’s side ran out 4-0 winners -meaning they now need to beat already-relegated Middlesbrough at home on the final day of the season to qualify for Europe’s elite competition.

And that means Arsenal will almost certainly be in the Europa League next season – much to the hilarity of some supporters:

It seems Arsene is taking all of the blame for the forthcoming fifth-place finish.

Is the Europa League really that bad?!
