Ex-Celtic Striker Anthony Stokes Spotted Meeting Hibs Boss Neil Lennon in Dublin

Former Celtic striker Anthony Stokes has been pictured with Hibs boss Neil Lennon at a bar in Dublin.

The Irish international was signed by the Hoops when Lennon was boss in 2010, before spending half of last season on loan at the Edinburgh club.

Stokes famously netted twice for the Hibees as they beat Rangers 3-2 in the Scottish Cup final, lifting the trophy for the first time in 114 years.

However, he opted not to sign on a permanent basis with the Easter Road side and chose a move to Blackburn instead.

That transfer didn’t exactly go to plan for Stokes though, as he’s scored three goals in twelve appearances for Rovers – his last coming in August against Mansfield in the League Cup.

But he could be handed a lifeline by Lennon in the shape of a third spell at Hibs, after the pair were pictured meeting up at a Dublin bar:

What would you make of Stokes starring for your side in the Scottish Premiership, Hibs fans?
