Video: Hibs Boss Neil Lennon Tired of Being Linked to His Former Celtic Players

Hibs manager Neil Lennon seems pretty fed up with being constantly linked to players he worked with at Celtic and even joked that he’ll be linked with Victor Wanyama next.

The Hibees are preparing for life back in the Scottish Premiership after a three-year absence, and their squad will no doubt need to be strengthened to ensure they’re as competitive in the top league as Lennon would like.

Having already captured Danny Swanson on a pre-contract from St. Johnstone, Lennon is looking to sign Efe Ambrose on a permanent contract following his impressive loan spell at Easter Road.

But as for rumours surrounding the likes of Kris Commons and Kelvin Wilson, the Northern Irishman was having absolutely none of it:

So, there you have it; Hibs will not be signing Victor Wanyama from Spurs this summer.

The Kenyan would’ve been a decent enough signing but, to be fair, when you’ve already got Marvin Bartley and John McGinn, it’s difficult to see him getting into their team.
