Jamie Carragher Trolls John Terry Over His Chelsea Farewell

Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has gone out of his way to troll John Terry following the Chelsea man’s pre-planned guard of honour goodbye on Sunday afternoon.

In case you’re not entirely familiar with what we’re referring to, Terry played his final game for the Blues at the weekend against Sunderland at Stamford Bridge and his way of departing the club was to be substituted after the 26th minute, corresponding with his shirt number, whilst players formed a queue to clap him off the pitch.

If the scene wasn’t already cringey enough, it transpired afterwards that the entire thing was all Terry’s idea.

It all seems a bit too self-indulgent to us, and it seems Carragher feels the same way.

After playing in a Liverpool legends game in Sydney earlier today, Carra took a sly dig at Terry’s antics – and he didn’t even mention his name:

Of course, Carragher spent his entire career wearing the number 23 jersey.

Burn, JT. Burn!
