Kris Commons will leave Celtic following the final league game of the season this weekend, but it looks increasingly unlikely that supporters will be given a proper chance to say goodbye.
The 33-year-old became a fan favourite after winning 2013/14 PFA Player of the Year awards, and has won five Scottish Premiership titles, two Scottish Cups and one League Cup since arriving in Glasgow back in 2011.
However, the ex-Scotland international hasn’t kicked a ball all season under Brendan Rodgers, and despite reports Commons could be in the squad to face Hearts on Sunday, the Northern Irishman admitted today that a swansong probably won’t take place:
? BR on Kris Commons' availability: "Kris hasn’t trained with us since January so highly unlikely fit to play."

? BR: "It is a game we want to win for many reasons and importantly it is a preparation game for the whole squad for next week."

To date, Commons has scored 91 goals in 226 matches for the Hoops, including several very important strikes against bitter rivals Rangers, and in Europe too.
Not bad for a player signed for around £300,000, eh?
Should he be given the chance to bow out in front of the Parkhead crowd this weekend?
