Liverpool Fans Will Love Dominic Solanke’s Anfield Tweet From 2012

Liverpool completed the signing of Dominic Solanke from Chelsea this afternoon and it turns out the young England striker already has an affinity with the Merseyside club.

Having failed to break into Antonio Conte’s first-team plans last season, Solanke has decided to head for pastures new, and his signature was courted by a whole host of clubs before the Reds eventually sealed the deal.

Like most players who sign for Liverpool, Solanke is probably desperate to play his first match for the club under the floodlights at Anfield, and the 19-year-old has been desperate to do so ever since 2012.

He obviously didn’t know he’d end up a Liverpool player five years ago, but this tweet will definitely help win over any supporters who have doubts about his talents:

Liverpool’s fee for Solanke will be decided by a tribunal this summer, and he should go straight into Jurgen Klopp’s squad to compete for a first-team spot.

What do you make of his move? Will he be a big hit at Liverpool?
