Lukas Podolski couldn’t resist a dig at Tottenham as he paid tribute to White Hart Lane.
Spurs played their final game at the stadium yesterday ahead of their move to a new 61,000 seater arena on the same site.
They signed off with a 2-1 win over Manchester United – a result which gave fans the perfect send-off while assuring they’ll finish the season in second place.
Past and present players, staff and supporters have been paying tribute to the historic stadium after the game.
And former Arsenal man Podolski is among those. But, as you could predict, he’s had some fun with his tribute.
Posting to Twitter, the Galatasaray striker shared a few pictures of him celebrating at Spurs’ home from during his time at Arsenal:
Thanks #whitehartlane for that great memories ?? #afc #gunners pic.twitter.com/3756BWOGoS

We’re sure Tottenham fans will see the funny side of it like plenty of Gooners have.
Arsenal had the upper hand on their north London rivals throughout Podolski’s time at the club, but that hasn’t been the case this year, with his old side struggling for a top four place while Spurs challenged Chelsea for the title right up until the end.
