Manchester United target Antoine Griezmann has reportedly told Atletico Madrid that he wishes to leave the club in the summer.
The French striker has been with the Spanish side since 2014 after his move from Real Sociedad and has quickly become a fans’ favourite, netting 83 times in 160 appearances.
After a sensational performance with France at Euro 2016, Griezmann was quickly on the radar of many clubs in Europe, most notably Jose Mourinho’s side.
The transfer rumours linking the 26-year-old striker with a switch to Old Trafford have been never ending, however, it appears a move may now be inevitable after Griezmann today informed Atletico that he wants to move on in the summer.

With Wayne Rooney’s imminent departure and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future uncertain, United could certainly do with a new forward and fans are excited at the prospect of Griezmann.
