Marvin Bartley Shows How Much He Loves Hibs With Post After Signing New 2-Year Deal

Marvin Bartley showed just how much he loves with his first social media post after signing a new two-year deal at Easter Road.

The English midfielder is one of five Hibees to sign contract extensions today, alongside David Gray, Darren McGregor, Lewis Stevenson and Ross Laidlaw.

He was signed from Leyton Orient by Alan Stubbs two years ago and has went on to make 72 appearances for the club.

Bartley has also won two trophies in that time, helping Hibs to the Scottish Cup last year and the Championship title this season.

So he’s understandably delighted to extend his stay at Easter Road – as shown in his first Instagram post:

Hibs’ signings today come at a great time for the club after they lifted the Championship title at the weekend.

Neil Lennon believes they are the second best team in Scotland and he’ll have to prove that next season so tying a number of star players down to extended deals will help.
