Pedro Caixinha: I’d Like to Sign Bruno Alves, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi

Rangers boss Pedro Caixinha appeared to be in a good mood during this afternoon’s press conference, as he lifted the lid on who he would like to sign in this summer’s transfer window.

Unsurprisingly, Bruno Alves’ name was mentioned, with the Portuguese international understood to have agreed on a summer switch to Rangers.

And while Caixinha was quick to praise his countryman and admit he would like to bring the experienced 35-year-old into the mix, he also has other targets in mind.

However, the other names the Rangers manager mentioned might be slightly more unrealistic.

Yes, Caixinha went on to name Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo and Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi – two players that are probably out of reach for the Gers gaffer:

Interestingly, Caixinha also spoke about his recent feud with Aberdeen manager Derek McInnes, after their war of words appeared to reach melting point during Sunday’s match at Ibrox.

The 46-year-old confirmed that despite what seemed to be a heated exchange on the touchline, the pair have since made peace as they enjoyed a glass of Portuguese wine together:

What do you make of Caixinha’s comments, Rangers fans?

On this week’s show, Daniel is joined by’s Scott MacArthur and Connor Boylan as they talk Pedro Caixinha v Derek McInnes, the Rangers’ manager’s performance, what’s gone wrong at Motherwell, who’s going down and your questions.
