Rangers Fans Are Absolutely Gutted to Hear Clint Hill is Leaving This Summer

Clint Hill is set to be released at the end of the season and Rangers fans are absolutely grief-stricken at the prospect.

The 38-year-old centre-back was signed last summer primarily as a back-up by Mark Warburton but his steely and determined performances in the face of a troubled campaign have won over the Gers fanbase.

Hill has contributed an impressive six goals this season, including one against Celtic, and was in the running for the club’s Player of the Year Award earlier this month.

But, according to the Scotsman, the former QPR defender’s impressive displays haven’t been convincing enough for new managed Pedro Caixinha to hand him a new one-year deal – leading to an outpouring of tributes to the veteran on social media:

With Hill on the way out, it’ll surely mean the Rangers coaching staff have their sights set on at least one replacement – but they’ll need to fill big shoes, whoever they are.
