Aberdeen Confirm Skipper Ryan Jack Has Told Derek McInnes He’s Leaving

Aberdeen captain Ryan Jack has informed Derek McInnes that he will leave Pittodrie when his contract expires this summer – news which will surely excite Rangers fans.

Jack has been linked with a move to Ibrox in recent weeks, with Rangers understood to have made an official approach to sign the player.

However, McInnes has always insisted that the 25-year-old has no desire to join Pedro Caixinha’s team, even claiming last month that he was confident of keeping hold of Jack heading into next season.

It appears circumstances have now changed though, with Aberdeen confirming via their official Twitter account that Jack has now informed McInnes that he will definitely be leaving the Granite City:

While it’s unclear where Jack will be playing his football next season, would it be too bold to predict a move to Rangers is on the cards?
