Ross County’s Liam Boyce in FIFA 17 Team of the Week Alongside Diego Costa, Emre Can and More

Liam Boyce is in the FIFA 17 Team of the Week alongside Diego Costa, Emre Can and more of football’s top players after his four goals for Ross County against Inverness.

The Northern Irishman has had another brilliant season for the Staggies, but produced arguably his best in last Friday night’s Highland derby.

County won the game 4-0 at the Global Energy Stadium and had Boyce to thank for three three points after he hit all four for the home side.

As you can see, it was an outstanding individual performance from the Staggies hitman, who singly-handedly put Inverness to the sword.

As a result of that, he’s been recognised by FIFA 17 with a place in their Team of the Week.

This is released every Wednesday and includes the in-form players from around world football – so Boyce can enjoy a stats upgrade from 63 to 72 overall.

Given Scottish players are rarely recognised for top performances, it’s great to see Boyce upgraded in the game.
