The Dons travelled down to Glasgow knowing second place in the Premiership was all but secured but Derek McInnes’s side seemed hungry to prove they’e a cut above their opponents this evening, with their attitude summed up by Shinnie’s run and finish.
The 25-year-old cleverly latched onto Adam Rooney’s flick, and proceeded to leave at least three Rangers players for dead before coolly slotting the ball past a helpless Wes Foderingham just nine minutes in:

Surprisingly, that’s only Shinnie’s third goal in all competitions this season, but it’s been another stellar campaign for the former Inverness player.
But what will Pedro Caixinha make of the defending in the run-up to Shinnie’s strike? Should he and the club’s supporters be expecting better?
What do you think?
