Arsenal midfielder Reiss Nelson nearly sent his marker to outer space with a magnificent piece of skill tonight.
The Gunners’ u23 side are hosting Manchester United at the Emirates, with Arsenal holding a 2-0 lead at half-time.
Nelson got himself on the score sheet after half an hour, before his teammate Eddie Nketiah doubled the home side’s advantage before the break.
And while a goal against United will undoubtedly gain some recognition from the club’s senior coaching staff, it was a piece of skill from Nelson (which left his opponent on his backside) that clearly impressed the club’s Twitter page:
He might’ve scored – but @ReissNelson9 also did this…
See ya ?

This game comes hot on the heels of the Premier League match between the two clubs at senior level, with Arsene Wenger’s team securing a 2-0 victory over United yesterday.
Will United’s youngsters follow in the footsteps of the senior side and fail to mount a serious comeback at the Emirates?
Or will seeing their superiors falter in north London inspire an unlikely win?
