Video: Brendan Rodgers and Leigh Griffiths Kiss and Make Up After Spat…Literally

Brendan Rodgers and Leigh Griffiths were involved in a silly spat during tonight’s match with Partick Thistle but the pair quickly kissed and made up – literally.

The Hoops went to Firhill in a mood for goals, and they proceeded to absolutely obliterate their opponents 5-0, with Griffiths scoring one and setting up another during the first-half.

But, as we told you earlier tonight, the in-form striker looked far from happy with his manager when his number appeared on the electronic board just after the hour mark, and soon made his feelings known about being taken off.

It looked like Griffiths might be forced to eat some humble pie, but as he and Rodgers saluted the travelling supporters afterwards, it seems everything was back to normal:

After the dust had settled and the players had left the pitch, Griffiths shared Radio Clyde reporter Alison Conroy’s quotes from Rodgers post-match:

Griffiths now has an astonishing 40 goals in his last 46 league starts, so Celtic fans will probably be delighted to see them make friends.
